Peter has over 20 years’ experience as an executive coach, helping business leaders to reach their full potential.
Following a successful career in executive search and international banking, Peter trained as a professional coach and took a degree in Consulting and Coaching for Change at INSEAD Business School, a discipline which integrates business education with psychology and the analysis of how behaviour and personality affects business performance.
Since 2003, he has coached senior executives and management teams at some of the world’s leading corporations and financial institutions. He has also operated as CEO, Founder, Chair and Board advisor for a variety of start-ups, partnerships and publically listed businesses.

A Middle Eastern organisation, delivering a one-to-one coaching programme for the successor to the current CEO. The focus of the coaching was to develop leadership, communication and delegation skills in preparation for the CEO role in 18 months’ time.
A global pharmaceutical company, where he was appointed to coach country managers for Japan, China and the Middle East. He ran company off-sites to help the senior executive team identify paths to improved performance, with particular emphasis on communication and teamwork.
A leading US investment bank, delivering a one-to-one coaching programme that helped individuals to overcome obstacles to career development and personal growth for the bank’s sales and trading team in London.
A UK private equity firm, where he was appointed to help the owner-manager of a UK manufacturing business adjust to the requirements of outside investors.
A Middle Eastern sovereign wealth fund where he worked with portfolio managers to bring greater clarity to their investment decision-making process and to manage their teams more effectively.
Peter has worked in a number of countries including Japan, China, India, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Switzerland, France, Germany, Holland and the UK.
After graduating from Manchester University with a BSc (Hons) in Management Sciences, Peter began his career with Standard Chartered Bank. After 7 years working in the Middle East, he returned to London and joined an executive search firm specialising in the financial services sector. Peter later acquired the company, before growing and selling the business to the global recruitment firm TMP Worldwide. Peter was then appointed TMP’s Head of European Financial Services, managing a team of 46 recruitment consultants in eight countries.
Other executive roles have included being CEO of Savile Group plc, a publically quoted HR consultancy and talent management business. Under his leadership, Savile Group was the best performing stock in the sector. He was Chairman of BG Consulting, a leading boutique training company in the financial services sector which was acquired by OSTC in 2020. He is currently Board Advisor to WeESG, a training company specialising in sustainable finance and also Grace & Green, a sustainable period products business.
Peter is a member of the International Coaching Federation (ICF), the Association for Business Psychology and the Special Group in Coaching Psychology, British Psychological Society (BPS). He is qualified Systemic Team Coach, AoEC. Psychometric accreditations include HOGAN Assessment Systems (HPI, HDS, MVPI) and certified PRISM mapping practitioner.
