Ruth Colling

Helping her clients to deal with a wide range of business and people-related challenges, Ruth’s work includes:

• Executive coaching for all levels of seniority, in a wide range of areas such as developing leadership skills, influencing, handling stress, developing confidence and overcoming imposter thoughts, handling conflict.
• Executive and senior team development, including strategic planning and enhancing team effectiveness.
• Functional team coaching, supporting team members to work together more effectively, with a view to improving stakeholder satisfaction and business delivery.
• Designing and facilitating leadership and management programmes.
• Designing and facilitating assessment and development centres.
• Mental Health First Aider Training.

Prior to becoming a business psychologist, Ruth worked as an HR Professional for British Steel and UBS. She has a BA (Hons) Psychology (University of Liverpool), MSc Occupational Psychology (City, University of London), Diploma in Coaching (Newcastle College), Certificates in Coaching & Counselling (CBT for Coaching & Coaching for EQ with Gestalt), MHFA Instructor qualification, and is qualified in various psychometrics, including: EQi, FIRO Element B, Hogan, MAPP, MBTI, PROPHET, SDI and Strengthscope. Ruth is a certified business psychologist with the ABP, a member of the British Psychological Society (BPS), including the Special Group in Coaching Psychology & BPS Division of Occupational Psychology.

She has delivered work in the UK, and in Bermuda, North America, France, Germany, Netherlands, and Dubai. Selected clients include Chaucer, Clyde & Co, Federated Hermes, Fidelity, Perrett Laver and many more.

When Ruth isn’t working, she loves spending time with her family and friends, keeping fit and travelling to far-flung destinations.
