A successful leader within their firm, this leader felt their career was at a cross-roads and was keen to expand their reach outside their own organisation. They wanted to develop a portfolio of roles, chairing panels and boards and acting as strategic advisor. Their initial request was to increase the impact they had in large public groups, involving a combination of shifting mindset (confidence) and developing practical tools for doing this.
We agreed a programme of six in-depth coaching sessions spread over a year. After each session, we sent them a reminder of the key themes and agreed actions, to help maintain progress between sessions. We also used a relevant psychometric tool in one of the sessions as a prompt for connecting more effectively with others.
